MUS1124 Principal Studies: Introduction to Composition and Music Technology

Description:

This unit introduces students to composing and producing music in the 21st century and introduces the demands placed on composers, producers and performers in the workplace. The unit will focus on composition practices, acoustics, sound recording, and sound perception and critical thinking around new music. Individual and collaborative practices will be examined, with an emphasis on analysis.
