NNT1205 Fundamentals of Nursing Practice

Prerequisites:
SCN1105 Biological Science in Nursing 1
 
Description:

The application of scientific principles related to a range of personal and health care situations will be examined and applied to nursing practice. In addition, microbiological principles and the nurse’s role in preventing and managing infection in both the health care facility and community will be examined. The following units must be undertaken concurrently: NSP1204 - Health Assessment in Nursing and SCN1106 - Biological Science in Nursing 2 (SCN1106 may be completed prior to enrolment in NNT1204).
