Environmental Studies Minor

The Environmental Studies minor explores the human interaction with the environment from a range of perspectives, including geography, politics, Indigenous Studies and environmental sciences. Themes underpinning the course include the inter-dependence of the ecosystem, the nature and extent of the environmental challenges facing humanity, the differing cultural perspectives on the environment, the importance of sustainability, and the moves towards global cooperation on the environment. Students will develop the skills and understanding to contribute to debates about environmental management within a wide range of professions.
