Description:
An understanding of the requirements for staging a performing arts event is essential knowledge for an arts manager. This unit examines the creative and production processes involved in the staging of a performing arts event from conceptualisation to realisation. Topics covered include: the roles of the director, choreographer, designers, workshop and administrator; production materials, equipment and modern technologies; venue requirements; production costing.
