Description:
This unit specifically studies the cardiorespiratory system. Both structure and function are covered with special emphasis on how the cardiorespiratory system adjusts to meet the demands of aerobic exercise in both elite athletes and the general population. Cardiovascular disease and the associated risk factors are also covered.
