LMS3111 Leisure and Sport Planning

Description:

The focus of this unit is to provide students with research and evaluation knowledge, skills and tools that will equip them to evaluate program and facility operations within sport and leisure organisations. Students will be introduced to evaluation theory, qualitative and quantitative approaches to evaluation, ethical considerations, data analysis and the reporting process. Students will undertake a real-life evaluation project within the sport and leisure industry on an existing program or operations aspect, and will be required to present their findings to the industry partner. This will provide students with essential evaluation-based skills transferable to the sport and leisure industry.
