Description:
This unit continues to develop music techniques that apply specifically to the music student specialising in Jazz education. Aural, composition, arrangement and improvisation skills will be further developed to ensure a continued improvement in Jazz performance practice. An emphasis will be placed on the transcription and analysis of solos recorded by prominent Jazz artists.
