ACS4133 Aboriginal Communities

Description:

This unit explores a range of factors impacting on Indigenous communities and their ongoing development. In particular, it focuses on the links between history, politics, economics and worldview in determining the health and well-being of Indigenous communities. As well, it discusses the challenges, strengths and strategies of working with Indigenous people so as to maximise a relevant and suitable community development approach.
