Description:
This unit will concentrate on the development of musical strategies for the performance of complex harmonic, rhythmic and melodic Contemporary Music repertoire. The study of advanced instrumental, improvisational, interpretive and technical skills is a focus. More complex, instrumental Contemporary Music repertoire will be studied and students will be encouraged to develop their own sound. The unit will be centred on the continued development of both individual and group performance skills with an emphasis on presentation and critical evaluation.
