NSP2208 Beginning Nursing Competencies

NSP1204 Health Assessment in Nursing
OR
NSP1205 Physical Assessment for the Health Sciences
 
Description:

This unit will explore the principles and practice underpinning the assessment and management of clients in the area of adult nursing. Using a problem-solving approach, students will demonstrate beginning competencies in the care of clients in selected clinical areas. Workplace experience will begin to prepare the student for future employment. The following units must be undertaken concurrently: NNT2405 -Introduction to Medical Surgical Nursing and NNS2205 - Applied Pathophysiology & Pharmacology 1 (NNS2205 may be completed prior to enrolment in NSP2208).
