K97 BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE

Health promotion is an interdisciplinary field offered by the School of Exercise, Biomedical and Health Sciences. Units are available as a 90 credit point minor (6 units), or as individual electives to students enrolled in any relevant ECU course. Students should discuss their choice of minor and elective units with the course coordinator of their major area of study.

Given the relevance of health and wellbeing to a range of professional fields, this six-unit minor of Health Promotion is available to any student enrolled in a relevant degree at ECU. Each unit is worth 15 credit points and all six units must be completed to obtain the 90 credit points required for this minor. Some units within the Health Promotion minor have pre-requisite units, the details of which are listed in the individual unit outlines.  Students should discuss their choice of Minor and/or Elective units with the course coordinator of their Major area of study.
