MIAAEW  Social Sciences Minor 

This unit set is available in the following courses:

The Minor in Social Sciences comprises 75 credit points (five units) selected from the units listed under the Social Sciences Major in the Bachelor of Arts, including no more than 30 credit points (two units) at Level One and at least 30 credit points (two units) at Level Three and including a third level unit from each of two different social science disciplines.

YEAR ONE
Complete 30 credit points (two units) from the following list:
GEO1104 Introduction to Geography: Environment, Space, Place 15
GEO1105 Contemporary Landuse Issues: Landscapes, Communities and Sustainability 15
HIS1106 Themes in Australian History 15
HIS1105 World History 15
POL1103 Modern Political Thought 15
POL1104 Foundations of Politics and Government 15
POL1105 Introduction to International Relations: The World into the 21st Century 15
 
YEAR TWO / YEAR THREE UNITS
Select 45 credit points (three units) from the Level Two and Level Three units listed in the Social Sciences major. Include one Level Three unit from each of two Social Science disciplines (ie. History, Geography, Politics and International Relations).
 
Level One units may be replaced by Level Two or Level Three units from the Major in Social Sciences list with the permission of the major coordinator.
