DTM2105 Materials Design and Technology 4

Description:

A practical study of the production, form, properties and structure of basic materials and their related processing. The focus is on the development of manipulative competencies and problem solving skills by selecting appropriate materials and applying manufacturing processes to meet a range of problems.  The function, operation and maintenance of tools and machines in a safe working environment will also be addressed. 

 

Students are advised that this unit will attract a small incidental fee for coursework materials.
