SST2117 Meteorology
SCHOOL OF REGIONAL PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

Description:

Global and local atmospheric circulation, ocean currents, condensation and precipitation are some of the advanced meteorological concepts examined in this unit.  Students undertake a significant weather monitoring project in considering weather forecasting and weather observation networks.  A visitation to the Bureau of Meteorology in Perth is an interesting aspect of the unit.
