Description:
This unit provides students with the opportunity to study molecular biology in depth within the context of biological applications. It deals with the use of molecular concepts and DNA techniques in embryogenesis, population dynamics, species conservation and phylogenetic analysis. Issues arising from the application of molecular techniques are examined.
