Description:
This capstone unit integrates the business and management concepts introduced in previous units and applies these in a management approach for the hospitality and tourism industries. The principle of co-alignment, which underpins the strategic planning process, is emphasised in the context of hospitality and tourism businesses. Globalisation of hospitality and tourism firms and competencies of industry management leaders in today’s environment are examined.
