The Design and Technology minor is designed to offer education students specialised skills that will enable them to teach the range of Design and Technology subjects taught in the lower secondary school. Students will investigate teaching pedagogies and methodologies that use a problem-solving approach, which is an integral component of the design process and is common to all subjects in the Technology and Enterprise Learning area. In addition, the Design and Technology Minor will investigate the skills and materials understanding foundational to learning in a practical hands-on area.
