SCN1105 Biological Science in Nursing 1

Description:

In this unit the various levels of structural organisation in the body are traced from atoms and molecules to cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. Students are introduced to chemical processes important in living systems and physiological mechanisms aimed at the maintenance of a constant internal environment. The clinical implications of scientific principles are emphasised.
