Description:

This unit focuses on evidence-based practice and the tools of systematic review or meta-analysis. It includes the synthesis and translation of information derived from research into practical knowledge and skills that can be used in practice. Issues related to the documentation of the results and the synthesis of evidence to determine best practice guidelines are considered. The use of observation and interviewing as tools for data collection, and the application of measurement and analysis technologies to occupational performance and its components are reviewed.
