Description:

In this unit, students gain the opportunity to apply the underlying principles and skills learned in previous units towards achieving, or recommending, some viable positive productivity goal. The means to achieve this must be maintenance related and fall within a range of topics including one or more of the following: vibration based machine condition monitoring, fault diagnosis of components, machine lubrication, effective planning and scheduling of maintenance operations, safety in maintenance, or sustainable maintenance practices.
