The Accounting Major comprises of 120 credit points (8 units) and has been designed for students seeking careers as professional accountants or in any financial area of business. The Major combines sound accounting principles with practical business applications.

Students seeking ICAA and other professional body accreditation must take the following units:
LAW2300 Company Law II 15
LAW2410 Income Tax Framework II 15
Students seeking CPA accredition must take LAW2300 Company Law II and its highly recommended that they take LAW 2410 Income Tax Framework II.
Students taking a single Major in Accounting should take these units among their electives or as part of the Professional Accounting Minor - see below.
Students taking a Double Major should:

for the First Year Bachelor of Business elective unit.
