G60 Bachelor of Science (Applied and Analytical Chemistry)

The Bachelor of Science (Applied and Analytical Chemistry) course provides students with a thorough background in analytical chemistry with a strong emphasis on instrumentation and the development of variety of important analytical skills. It is designed to meet industries' need for capable, dynamic and innovative graduates with well-developed technical skills and a sound theoretical knowledge in analytical chemistry. In addition the course is designed to give students business and managerial skills providing students with greater employment opportunities. The Royal Australian Chemical Institute has accredited this course allowing students to become members of this nationally recognised institute.

 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1.  A completed Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised higher education provider.

or

2.  Applicants who have passed TEE Chemistry or equivalent may, with approval from the Course Coordinator, enrol in this course while concurrently undertaking TAFE studies.
