K71 Bachelor of Speech Pathology

The profession of speech pathology deals with speech issues and impediments, which may be acquired or developmental, and are caused by mental or physical impairment. This course teaches students to become speech pathologists and covers the full range of skills necessary to assess, plan, and treat people with communication disorders, voice disorders, and swallowing or fluency difficulties in a range of different contexts. Academically and professionally, the course is closely aligned with areas such as speech science, psychology, audiology, and allied healthcare.
