SPS3103 Urban Planning for a Healthy Lifestyle

Description:

This unit will focus on a wellness approach to maximising health through lifestyle education and skills to address such factors as physical activity, nutrition, chronic disease risk, and weight control.  Considerable emphasis is placed upon the role of specific modes of physical activity in the prevention of disease.  The tutorial component focuses on how cities can be designed to improve access to physical activity.
