ACS2100 Planning for Native Title

Description:
This unit explores the impact of native title on land use, with special reference to Western Australia. It includes an examination of native title legislation and leading court judgements since the Mabo decision. The unit also examines the role of the National Native Title Tribunal, representative bodies, governments, and mediation processes between relevant stakeholders. A selection of case studies will be examined for best practice.
