CRI3111 Workplace Practicum
SCHOOL OF LAW AND JUSTICE
Credit Points: 15

Description:
The workplace practicum consists of two units (CRI3110 and CRI3111). When undertaking these units, students will be allocated a full-time placement at a criminal justice agency for the entire semester. This provides students with an opportunity to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge acquired in classroom learning. The workplace practicum is designed for students who need to gain workplace experience. This will render them competitive for a range of employment opportunities post graduation. Therefore, the workplace practicum is not suitable for, and not available to, students currently employed by a criminal justice agency. Furthermore, students employed by a criminal justice agency are not able to use current employment, or past employment as a basis for advanced standing.
