MUS2214 Principal Studies: Composition 1
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

Description:

This unit enables students to develop composition techniques as applied to contemporary art music. The unit will also focus on analysis, concepts and aesthetics with an emphasis on contemporary Australian and Western Australian music. Students will undertake practical composition and performance studies that will provide application of skills learnt in this unit. Individual and group performance skills will be studied with an emphasis on presentation.
