Description:

This unit focuses on the development of Jazz from 1965 to the present day concentrating on the major musical innovations, definitive stylistic characteristics, external musical influences and seminal Jazz artists from the period. The unit will examine the body of recorded work associated with the period in conjunction with the relevant literature.
