GDT3102 Writing for Games

Description:

This unit introduces students to the fundamentals of writing for non-linear and interactive narratives. Students will learn to develop conceptual architectures for various interactive genres such as first-person shooter and role playing games, as well as the various sub-genres in computer games. Students will also study and apply conceptual design principles including game levels, single-player and multi-player interactivity, character creation and environments specifically in terms of non-linear narratives.
