SPE1100 Evidence-Based Practice in Speech Pathology

Description:

This unit introduces students to the concept of evidence-based practice in the health sciences. Students will acquire skills to discover and evaluate examples of evidence-based practice from the domains of human communication science, voice production, and swallowing disorders across the life-span. The students will learn to be active observers, and identify the range of skills required to achieve excellence as practicing Speech Pathologists.
