ICS3050 Cultures of the World
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS
Credit Points: 15

Description:

If Humankind is to develop more equitably or perhaps even survive at all, humans will have to understand the cultural differences within their family, the one they call Homo Sapiens. It will entail examining more deeply than they do at present what they mean by Culture and cultures: both their “own” and “other people’s”.  The unit promotes this activity by working outwards from students’ own social and cultural experiences.
