HST1150 Fundamental Principles of Occupational Health and Safety
 
Description:
This unit introduces the student to the range of workplace hazards and their health effects; basic principles of hazard control with main emphasis on chemical and physical hazards at work. Topics include: toxic chemicals and their control; noise and vibration; ionising and non-ionising radiation; noise, heat stress and electrical shock.
