MIEDIT  Editing Minor 

This unit set is available in the following courses:
G37 BACHELOR OF ARTS
K28 BACHELOR OF WRITING

The Minor in Editing comprises 90 credit points (six units) selected from the units listed below, including no more than 30 credit points (two units) at Level One and at least 60 credit points (4 units) at Level Three.

This unit set is available in the following modes of delivery - On-campus, and Online.

WRT1110 Introduction to Editing 15
WRT3114 Writing and Editing 15
WRT3115 Authorship and Publication 15
WRT3123 Production, Editing and Design 15
 
Plus 15 credit points from the following:
CSI1102 Presentation Systems 15
ENG1110 The Power of Practical Writing 15
WRT1101 Language and Writing 15
 
And 15 credit points selected from:
ICS3101 Arts Practicum 15
WRT3121 Communication Practices 15
WRT3122 Writing Technical, Scientific and Business Reports 15
WRT3124 Writing Applications, Tenders and Proposals 15
 
Or a unit in an area relevant to the student’s interests (such as a creative or professional writing unit, or an English unit, a social sciences unit, or a media unit such as CMM2103 Media Law and Ethics), approved by the Writing/Editing Coordinator.
 
Note: Students must achieve a course average of at least 70% by their third year of study (full-time) in order to do ICS3101 Arts Practicum (Editing).
