MIAAAO  Landscape Planning Minor 

This unit set is available in the following courses:
K11 BACHELOR OF PLANNING

The Landscape Planning Minor provides students with a specialisation focussing on the role of planning for catchments and rural landscapes. The units in this minor provide students with an introduction to the foundations of physical geography, as well as an overview and understanding of complex ecosystem and catchment management processes.  A major emphasis is the role of a sustainable and holistic approach to catchment and ecosystem planning. Students are required to complete 60 credit points (4 units) for this minor.

 
UNIT SET LOCATION
This unit set is available on Mt Lawley, and Joondalup Campuses.

To undertake this unit set students will have to attend on both the Joondalup and Mt Lawley Campuses.

SCI3301 Catchment Health and Management 15
GEO3123 Physical Geography: Landforms and Landscapes 15
GEO3125 Western Landscapes: Land Use, Environment and Sustainability 15
 
*** For students in the Bachelor of Planning or the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning SCI1185 Ecology is the only pre-requisite required for SCM3204.
