DTM1105 Materials Design and Technology 2

Description:

A practical study of the production, form, properties and structure of basic materials and their related processing. The development of problem solving skills in a design context by selecting appropriate materials and applying manufacturing processes to meet a range of problems.  The function, operation and maintenance of tools and machines in a safe working environment.  Special emphasis given to wood, but not excluding metal, polymers and composites.
