K01 Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics and Statistics)

The Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics and Statistics) course is a three-year full time (or part-time equivalent) degree program.  The course is designed to have an industry and employment orientation and introduces students to relevant areas of mathematics and statistics.  Students also combine their mathematics and statistics study with units in related areas such as computing and signal processing.  On graduating, students are well placed to obtain employment in many areas of either the public or the private sector.

 
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

In addition to meeting standard admission requirements, students must have completed TEE Applicable Mathematics or TEE Calculus at Year 12 level.

COURSE STRUCTURE

This is a three year full-time (or equivalent part-time) course consisting of 360 credit points.  It consists of  24 units, each of which is worth 15 credit points.
