Description:

This unit covers the development of the structure and function of the brain and nervous system, from foetal stage to ageing. There is an introduction to neuroscience and the application of functions such as cognition, memory and perception to occupational performance. The impact of neurological damage on cognition, function and occupational performance will be examined.
