Description:
This unit examines three areas. The first covers the effects of high speed and high altitude on the aerodynamic performance and handling of aircraft. The second covers flight controls designed for high speed flight and how they operate at both the high and low speed regime. The third examines the construction, operation, performance and handling of jet engine propulsion systems.
