Description:
This unit continues the teaching of research methods and statistics initiated in the first year research unit. The research methods component focuses on advanced issues in research design, scale construction and survey research. Advanced statistical techniques are studied, and skills in experimental research methods, writing laboratory reports, and using computer statistical packages are consolidated. Students are also introduced to working as part of a research team.
