Description:
This unit introduces students to the broad area of Environmental Health Management. It examines the organisation and administration of environmental health services. Students are provided with an introductory understanding of environmental law, environmental policy development and environmental health management practices. Specific areas covered include the consequences of housing, occupational impact and recreational pursuits on the environment. Institutional and community rights and responsibilities towards environmental health care will be addressed.
