The Bachelor of Information Systems aims to provide a strong background in all aspects of information systems and electronic commerce. It will equip students with the analytical and developmental concepts and skills associated with information systems that underpin so many elements of e-commerce. This is very much a business oriented, yet technical course.
The course will comprise of 24 units of 15 credit points each students need to satisfactorily complete a total of 360 credit points.
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
It is desirable that students have studied mathematics at year 12 or equivalent. Students without sufficient background in mathematics may be required to complete Business Mathematics. This unit does not contribute to course credit.
COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY
The course is available by full-time study on the Joonaldup campus and part-time study on the Churchlands campus, additionally many units may be taken in external or online mode.
