This course is provided for students with a science background who are interested in careers combining psychology and areas from science and technology such as Aviation Science, Environmental Management, Human Biology, Sports Science and Computer Science.
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENT In addition to standard admission requirements, satisfactory performance in a TEE Science subject is expected.
COURSE STRUCTURE Psychology is available by full-time or part-time study. Generally, units should be completed in year sequence (i.e., all first year units should be completed before proceeding to second year units, and all second year units should be completed before proceeding to third year units). Prerequisites must be adhered to and each of the research units must be taken in the exact sequence (i.e. PSY1102, PSY2202, PSY3303). Over the course of the degree students may not undertake more than 150 credit points at the first year level.
COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY The course is available by full-time or part-time study on Joondalup campus. The Psychology units can be studied externally. Other units may be available externally, please contact relevant course co-ordinator.
