BES2100 Foundations of Business Leadership

Description:

In this unit students will apply concepts acquired in the pre-requisite units to more complex business problems. Students will begin to demonstrate the acquisition of employability skills and work with other students to achieve pre-determined outcomes, demonstrating networking, negotiation and mediation skills. Students will begin to assume basic leadership roles and provide instructions to other team members. They will also use various problem-solving techniques and a range of tools and technologies to help with their decision making. Students will use data from primary and secondary sources to support their arguments and be able to present data in an understandable format. Students will also demonstrate an increasingly high level of self and peer assessment.
