Description:
This unit provides students with a better understanding of people in relation to work and organisations. It explores the behaviour of individuals, groups, and organisations, with particular emphasis on the role of the manager. As well as drawing theory from the fields of sociology, anthropology, and psychology, the unit incorporates a discussion of contemporary practices which organisations use to improve their effectiveness and to enhance the quality of working life.
