NSP3201 Practice Across Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Care
SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

NSP3202 Proficient Holistic Nursing Care (Specialty)
 
Description:

Using a problem-solving approach, students will develop competencies in caring for clients in selected clinical and community settings. Students will undertake clinical practice in a variety of health care settings with a focus on discharge planning. Student will also participate in community nursing with a focus on meeting the biopsychosocial, spiritual and cultural needs of individuals, families and groups within the community.  They will participate in a health promotion programmes in partnership with a community agency. Students will complete a continuous period of clinical practice in a selected area of interest. Medication calculation competence will also be addressed.
