SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Credit Points: 15
Prerequisites:
SCP1112 Waves and Electricity

Description:

This unit describes how electromagnetism can transfer energy and information between two points.  Mathematical tools are used to identify key factors in designing efficient transmitting and receiving systems, and in understanding how the transmission medium can affect the performance of energy and information transfer.  This unit also investigates the effects of electromagnetic radiation on high-speed digital systems.
