R95 Executive Certificate in Information and Knowledge Management
The Executive Certificate in Information and Knowledge Management is a one-semester full-time (or equivalent part-time) course designed to meet the demand for information and knowledge management skills by people with backgrounds and considerable experience in the emerging knowledge-based industries, but who hold no formal tertiary qualifications. It is designed to impart the theoretical and practical knowledge required for first-level management and specialist positions in information and knowledge management. Students who successfully complete the Executive Certificate can continue their studies in the Graduate Diploma program. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The minimum admission requirement is significant industry experience in the field. COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY The course is available by full-time or part-time study based at Mount Lawley campus. Selected units are available through on-line study. Off-campus students MUST have regular and reliable access to the Internet and Ecourse. COURSE STRUCTURE The program comprises four units. Students must complete two core units and two electives from one of the focus streams.
