INTRODUCTION The Bachelor of Science is designed to provide high quality science and technology based studies in a wide range of areas from which students can select combinations relevant to their aspirations. Provision for breadth of study within a flexible framework gives students the opportunity to meet current and future needs of employers in a wide range of professions. In addition, the course is a suitable preparation for a range of postgraduate, professionally based, science courses.
SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENT In addition to standard admission requirements, students must have achieved a pass in one TEE Science subject or one TEE Mathematics subject or equivalent. Equivalent studies include bridging units in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY The course is available by full-time or part-time study on Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses. Some units are available in external and flexible delivery mode.
COURSE STRUCTURE The Bachelor of Science award consists of 24 units comprising:
Eight unit science major chosen from the list below. Plus Eight unit Supporting major chosen from the list below. Plus Eight unit approved combination of units from within the Faculty or anywhere in the University.
