320 Bachelor of Nursing

Conversion of a tertiary based diploma

 

This course is designed to upgrade to a Bachelor of Nursing the qualifications of existing registered general nurses with a recognised tertiary level diploma award. The course requires six months of full-time study or the part-time equivalent.

 

COURSE LOCATION AND MODE OF STUDY

The course is available by full-time or part-time study on Churchlands campus and at the South West campus (Bunbury). It is also available by external study.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants will require a recognised Diploma of Health Science (Nursing) or its equivalent prior to admission as approved by the School of Nursing and Public Health. They must also be currently registered general nurses.

 

COURSE STRUCTURE

The course consists of four units of study which should be completed within two years of initial enrolment. Normal student progression is described as follows:
