NST1103 Psychosocial Nursing: A Life Span Approach

Description:

This unit focuses on the psycho-social aspects of life from birth to old age and the fluctuating health experiences of individuals at different points throughout the life span. Issues will be examined using a psychosocial nursing conceptual framework, which encompasses stages and psychological tasks of development. The nursing theoretical basis for the unit will include Henderson, Leininger and Watson.
